Maxim is an international company that designs, distributes, and sells analog and mixed-signal semiconductor products. They wanted an exhibit design for a European show that would showcase their automotive, manufacturing, and medical products.
RDW came up with this design that integrated their branding into a two-story exhibit. There was two conference areas, a hospitality bar, two open-seating areas, and a storage closet. Each product line has a designated area and a wall. The wall structure was designed with layers of graphics to mimic the idea that most of the products shown operate behind the surface. I Europe, where the trend is to have slick surfaces and very polished design. Therefore, the idea of having the inside of the structure showing and layers of graphics was very novel. Not only did it communicate the message, it got attention.
