AMX makes building security systems for high-end homes and commercial buildings. Their old exhibit didn't have the forward-looking appearance that would suggest they are a progressive company. They wanted an look that suggested they are progressive and on the edge of technology. They also wanted a lot of displays on their walls, but a lot of see-through at the same time. We pushed the structure up and out the the edges to give it a lot of "bulk, and used infill panels made of strings of chains that were halo-lit with blue lights that gave the walls a shimmering waterfall effect that created the see-through they needed for long sight lines. The exhibit gave a huge presence and an edgy appearence. The best compliment was from one of the executives who said, "This is great! It's so much more than we hoped for!" |
